What a fantastic semi final round I enjoyed the whole show.

The third set of semi finalists to reach the final were announced tonight following an awesome performance to 'Singing in the rain' by George Sampson and the dynamic duo Strike whose perfectly choreographed performance left we women drooling, including Amanda Holden who appeared to be having palputations!!.

Commiserations

My heart goes out to the semi finalists who didn't make it through this evening, especially to 10 year old Charlie Green who made it through the audience voting to the judges final decision, and was voted off by Piers final casting vote. Your  a 'natural showman' as Piers Morgan says and Simon Cowell said you have 'real potential'  I am sure we will see your career taking off as you mature and then we the audience will be in for a real treat Charlie.

Sheer determination to prove a point! 

I especially enjoyed the performance by Hoop La La who through sheer determination and hard work proved that they could better their performance and boy did you take the biscuit!, even Simon Cowell had to admit he was won over.  If you do workshops let us know we would love to advertise them for you. Well done. I would definitely love to watch you perform again.

Though I love the Mary Halford March dancers, I agree with the panel and thought they would have stood a better chance with a more upbeat and modern dance routine showing off the kids vibrance, they are ab fab! and deserve to do well.

Never give up ! 

Don't give up guys, the knock backs make for you being a stronger and more confident person, these shows are about getting out there and being seen, as Simon Cowell stated earlier about X Factor "It's not about winning, It's about taking part" and he is right.

It's all about gaining experience! 

In order to make it in the world of entertainment and in life in general, you have to gain experience, my advice is to enter as many talent competitions, festivals, and auditions for shows as there are available and give 'em your all.

Talent spotters 

Even if competitors don't make it into the final, the semi finalists have had the exposure that can make or break their careers. If you have the talent and star quality then you will get spotted and with perseverance will get to where you want to be.
