Disabled Dance

Embracing dance in any form. Wheelchair dance is a not much publicised form of dance and after researching I came across a disabled dance championship video I would like to share with you.

A Passion for Dance

The energy and stamina these dancers have is unbelievable and the routines are spot on.

Children and Adults can learn to wheelchair dance through dance movement, interpretation of music and improvisation, use of floor space, costume and make-up, the foundations are exactly as for able bodied dancers and their qualities on both professional and amateur levels all over the world are all the same. The level of skill in the video below is stunning and shows that whatever the disability it can be overcome and you can achieve almost anything you set your mind to including dance and perform.
