Waltz

This is perhaps the most famous and enduring dance style. Classical, graceful and elegant, it captures the romance most people seek and has long been the choice of dance for special occasions the world over. Originally created in Vienna, Austria, to the music of Strauss it quickly became the star performer in aristocratic social circles. There are two versions of the Waltz, the English or slow waltz, and the Viennese version, and is one of the five International Ballroom Competition Dances.
