About Dance Master UKThe Grand final of I.D.T.A Dance Master UK held during the final of the Miss Dance of Great Britain, brings together a collection of young men from all over the UK to compete for the annual title. Dance Master finalists have a huge female fan base and the cheers, screams and wolf whistles belied our feelings that this will grow into a very watchable event in forthcoming years. Entrants for the Dance Master heats must be aged 16 years on 31st May of the year they are competing in the final. To enter each competitor must take part in the Regional Heats held prior to the event at one of the 53 I.D.T.A recognised dance festivals throughout the UK. Entry fee approx £5 - varies please check when booking Prize I.D.T.A Dance Master UK Title and £500 Runner up £250 3rd Place £150 The Dance Master UK Finals organised by the I.D.T.A. will be held in Blackpool Winter Gardens. The winner and runner-up will receive prize money and a trophy awarded by the International Dance Teachers' Association.
Additional awards are presentedThe John Dilworth Bursary in memory of the event founder - £200 for most promising. The Ros Wicks Bursary in memory of her dedication to the event - £100 awarded for vocal potential The Peggy Harrison Award presented to the Winner of - Miss Dance Of Great Britain
